Someone like You - Adele

My last TDC contemporary combination choreography. I’m determined to make it perfect.

I love the lyrics of the song. It just expresses everything I want to say. While choreographing, the “you” in the song was my TDC dance family, not a particular person. To me, finding a new TDC will be what I’ll try doing abroad; someone like them. And I know that some things don’t last forever. We will go our separate ways, forget to keep in touch - but I will always wish the best for them. And when I return, I hope that everyone will still remember me and I will still remember them for the way we were before.

Bittersweet. Metaphorical and emotional.

And of course, in literal sense, I do dedicate this to someone. That person will never find out though. No one will. :)
